HOW TO CREATE FILE ACCOUNT

  • go to the home page, click the accounts tab, and then click file accounts. Within this page, there is a new file account button at the top-left corner of the page.

  • On the open new file account page, select the matter you are generating the account for in the drop down menu under the file field. Select the date from the calendar pick list. Select the currency from the drop down list under the currency field. By default the estimated budget is 0.00 but editable, input the correct estimated figure. Select if the billing type is fixed price or hourly in the drop down list. Indicate if time is mandatory or optional then click save. On the next page you can edit the file account details, manage file account currencies and add billing rates.

  • To add billing rates; -Select your job title -Input your rate -Input the estimated hours and save.

However, this can be edited or deleted in case of an error through the pencil and the bin icon on the right.
